Where flexible production lines are used to produce an array of products manufactures need the ability to deliver to the lines "Change Parts" on time and effectively.  LEAN IMPACT Change parts SMED module provides change parts in the form of Bill Of Materials (BOM) to form KIT definitions.

Once parts have been defined within the Change Parts Manager they will be available to be assigned to a Change Parts Kit that can then be assigned to a Line Group / Format / Product Code / WIP Code combination or to another kit in the Change Parts Kit Manager Application.

The Change parts (SMED) manager will also handle production material, calling them from the stores as required by production. Linking LEAN IMPACT change parts manager with real time production efficiency and scheduling models will ensure change parts KITS are ready and delivered to the line on time.

LEAN IMPACT change parts system will ensure your change over times are optimised and not delayed due to late delivery of parts to the lines.
