The team at Electrium used paper-time sheets when it came to creating orders on their MRP system; but this method lacked accuracy, leading to flawed data, as well as difficulty in justifying capital expenditure. It was also hard to ascertain the OEE of the production process as it was manually controlled, and finding the right information was time-consuming as well as unclear.
